Twined Basket Workshop Sat 29th May 1pm - 4pm
This workshop is all about learning the ‘twining’ method. Twined baskets can be made in all shapes and sizes with all manner of materials and plant fibres.
On this occasion we will use raffia twined around a frame o soft cord to make a small basket. These materials are ideal for gaining the skill of twining and prepare participants to venture further into basketry using plant fibres for their next basket. In this workshop, you will learn how to *make the frame *twine around the frame *finish your basket *Information on other types of twined baskets and suitable plant fibres and materials to use.
