Melon Basket Course 1-4pm Saturdays 3rd August 2019
A melon basket is a ‘constructed frame’ basket. This course will take you through each stage in four sessions over 6 weeks, providing you time to work at home to complete each stage. There is immense satisfaction in turning plant fibres into a useful and attractive basket. It is an opportunity to learn how to harvest and utilise a variety of plant materials which are commonly available in many gardens, if not yours then perhaps your neighbour’s.
