Textile Earring Workshop - Design
Advanced level

with guest facilitator Barbara Roe Hebb

Spend time creating your individually designed pair of textile earrings.

Inspiration can be for colour combinations from nature such as below, the Red Wattle Bird, Plover and Fairy Wren. Alternatively, the focus can be on the shape you wish to achieve such as the Two Hoops above. Mix colours, create your own shapes: either mirror images or create your design theme with each earring differing.

In this workshop you will be guided in
Designing your unique pair of earrings

• Thread selection -organic cottons or wool
  
• Starting the earrings with or without the earring hooks
  
• Managing mirror versions if part of the design
  
• Finishing the earring 

What’s provided:

• Materials: Surgical steel earring hooks. Selection of coloured threads. Needle.
  
• Afternoon tea

We recommend having completed intermediate level to build on those skills as you spend time developing your design and creating the earrings.
