How to Create
Ephemeral
art

Ephemeral Art is all about immersing yourself in nature and using nature itself for creative expression.
The word ephemeral means 'lasting for a very short time' something only momentary, fleeting.
Making art in nature is something that anyone can enjoy and I encourage you to give it a try. Its an interesting process, in that you can find yourself totally absorbed in the moment of solving how to create something, just with what you have on hand.

As a guide I recommend following these

Ephemeral Art Principles
Use only natural material found on site
No tools, only your hands
Rain or shine
Tired or inspired
5 mins or 50
Take a photo, then disperse your piece
Inspired by Shona Wilson’s One a Day Project

I acknowledge the Wadawurrung as the Traditional Owners and Protectors of the place where I live and work.
I acknowledge their ancestors who cared for the land, rivers and sea all of its creatures and plants for thousands of generations.
I pay my respects to the elders past, present and future.
